Cowboy Club Fun: IBDP Bonding Trip
On 10th November, IBDP staff and students had a funfilled Bonding Trip to the XiShan Cowboy Club. On the way there, excited students played music and sang on the bus. They spent the morning engaged in various forms of teambuilding and personal development activities with the trainer on-site, which included leadership activities, tug-of-war and problem-solving games. Then at noon the group was free to explore the other activities on offer, such as archery, speedboat-racing, flying fox, go-karting and the highlight of the place: horse-riding! Indeed, horses, camels and ponies were everywhere which thrilled the visitors. Everyone had brought lunch and enjoyed a great time snacking together, while taking in lovely views of the lakes. For those who preferred some quiet time away from the exhilarating activities, there were also hammocks under the trees for respite. When it was time to leave, everyone posed for a group photo to remember IBDP's first field trip and bought lots of organic mandarines from the locals. Then being completely exhausted, the whole bus slept like a log throughout the journey back to the school. Everyone agreed that the weather cooperated and despite the wind, it has proven to be an amazing and memorable day!
