In SIPFLS IB Division,there are altogether 2 high school pathways to selected college programmes. Students are offered either one or two high school programmes based on their middle school examination results and performance in the school enrolment tests/interview. There is also a possibility for students to switch from one program to another based on their abilities, interest and performance during the first term of Year 10. The promotion criteria shown below for each program is based on course-specific requirements.

苏州工业园区外国语学校IB学部共有两个高中课程的入读途径,针对相应可选的大学计划。学生可被提供一个或两个高中课程,基于他们的中考成绩和入学测试/面试的表现。学生也有可能从一个课程转读另一个课程,基于他们在十年级第一学段的学习能力、兴趣和成绩。以下的升读标准是基于不同课程的专门要求。

Academic Requirements for enrolment招生成绩要求:

·   Minimum 500 Middle School Results excluding PE score.

·   English standard must be at least 4.5 for IELTS, 60 for TOFEL or   60% for English Entrance Test.

·   Maths and Science Middle School Test must be at least 70% and   History/Geography/Politics at least 60% on average.

·   Minimum 450 Middle School Results excluding PE score.

·   English standard must be at least 4.5 for IELTS, 60 for TOFEL or   50% for English Entrance Test.

·   Maths Middle School Test must be at least 70% and   History/Geography/Politics at least 60% on average.

·中考成绩最少500分,不包括体育分数。

·英语水平要求雅思至少4.5分,托福60分或英语入学考试60分。

·初中数学和科学测试必须至少70%,历史/地理/政治平均至少60%。

A.      Continuing in Year 10 IB Bridging Program

续读10年级IB预备课程的标准

1.        An overall score of at least 55% in written form, 65% in presentation of work (both written and oral) and 70% in listening comprehension for both languages.

2.        An average score of 55% for all other subjects excluding the language subjects.

3.        Less than 5% of absenteeism from school due to personal reasons.

1.      两门语言的书面测试至少达到总分的55%,作业展示至少达到总分的65%(包括书面和口头形式),听力理解至少达到总分的70%

2.      所有其他学科的平均分达到55%,除去语言学科。

B.      Promotion Criteria to IBDP for Year 10 IB Bridging Program 

10年级IB预备课程升读IBDP课程的标准

1.        An overall score of at least 55% in written form, 65% in presentation of work (both written and oral) and 75% in listening comprehension for both languages.

2.        An average score of 60% for all other subjects excluding the language subjects.

3.        An average score in ATL performance.

4.        Completion of a mini CAS journal with at least 3 different CAS experiences covering all CASstrands.

5.        Less than 5% of absenteeism from school due to personal reasons.

C.      Promotion Criteria to IADP Program

升读美国融合课程的标准

This program is designed for students who find the IBDP full diploma course too challenging and aim to pursue higher education in some selected colleges. They will only study 3 or 4 IB subjects at High/Standard Level and take general courses in IADP. They are not required to work on TOK, EE and CAS. However, they are strongly encouraged to carry out CAS as part of a holistic education.

D.      Promotion Criteria to IBDP Year 12

升读到IBDP12年级的标准

1.        A minimum grade of IB level 4 for each HL subject and level 5 for SL subjects.

2.        Meet the IA assignments determined by each subject group.

3.        Completion of CAS portfolio for at least 4 experiences and a good progress in CAS project

4.        Completion of presentation assignment for TOK.

5.        Completion of data collection and research with substantial write up for EE.

6.        An average score in ATL performance.

7.        Less than 5% of absenteeism from school due to personal reasons.
