在新学期初,10年级学生已经完成了第一单元理论学习,同时通过实验的方式对所学理论知识进行理解与巩固。化学是一门与我们生活息息相关的科学,不仅是局限课本理论的学习。因此在本单元的学习过程中,学生通过实验的方式对其中的两个知识点“杂质对纯物质熔沸点的影响”和“影响扩散速率的因素”进行了学习。通过这种理论与实验相结合的方法不仅培养了学生的观察能力、思考能力以及分析问题能力,同时也在实验中培养了学生的交际能力和团队协作精神。同时为了达到学习目标,学生需要独立完成一份学术报告。

States of matter

At the beginning of this semester and after the year 10 students’ had finished learning the theory of unit 1 they conducted an experiment to consolidate the knowledge learned. Chemistry is a real world, real life subject and lives not only in textbooks.In this process the students learned”How the impurity affects the melting point and boiling point” and” the factors affecting the rate of diffusion” by doing experiments themselves. This method not only develops the students’ observation, thinking and analysis skills but also develops communication skill and team spirit.At the same time in order to achieve learningaims , the students then needed to finish writing a scientific report by themselves.
